Stockholm Skate Nation started in 2016 with the purpose of welcoming and integrating refugee kids who arrive to Sweden with the help of skateboarding. The project has been a true success and they have met over 500 kids! They meet every second Friday for skate sessions and organize camps every school holiday. We also give the participants the opportunity to take leadership classes. Several of the kids who have been participants are now coaches, and they are now the ones who welcome new kids to Sweden through skateboarding.
